Redecorating/ Refurnishing

So, I have this tendency to get overly excited about the smallest of things!
And when that happens, my heart would pound and I would not be able to concentrate on anything for a long time!! And that's exactly what's happening to me now. I am suuuuper excited! And here  is why!

OMG how pretty is that?? the Grey on the walls and the Colourful Carpet and pillows! Simply amazing! I am going crazy here!!
Yes, I have been thinking about redecorating my apartment. I mean why not??!! And the Colors I want to go for are white, pink and grey. I am thinking Grey and white walls, and Maybe a pink sofa?
Lol I know how it sounds but think about it it would be so so very pretty! And girly too! And bright and cheerful!

I love how spacious and clean the look is. And its just one Pink Couch, I think I will do a grey TV Wall, with some paintings on each side of the TV, and the rest of the room could be white. The pink Couch will have grey and white pillows, I will get a few plants as well...and some huuuge pillows to sit on!!
I can't wait! Okay I do sound too excited, I'm going to tone it down a little bit!

The thing is, every one of these designs looks amazing. It's hard to decide which one I should go for. I know for a fact that I want clean, simple and cozy! I live alone, a few friends come over every once in a while but for the most part, its just me. So I do not see the point of having too many Sofas, my living room is not that big anyways. So one will do. Well one that accommodates my long legs!!

The living room below is just lovely. just one cozy sofa and thats it. of course I cant get the big a** painting behind the sofa but I will pretend that thats a grey wall for now!


 I assure you my obsession with grey walls is not unfounded..


And yes I know that's a kid's bedroom but my attention is on the painting on the wall. the Grey wall just makes it seem way prettier.


Imagine having that mirror, in your living room...in pink...against a dark grey wall. Sigh...
Looks like I am going to be a busy girl this coming Weekend.
Time to get back to being a lawyer. A very excited one at that!

Where do I start... Every year, when it's time to pay my rent, I start thinking about how much I would like for this to one day stop altogether. My parents were teachers, employed by the Government, so I was born in a house that my parents ended up living in for more than twenty years. And when my father retired a few years ago, he was able to purchase the said house from the government. Rent was never an issue. Until I started my own life, in this beautiful and crazy City. Having recently moved to a bigger place, my rent has gone higher. Most Landlords require payment of a year's rent upfront, and if you are lucky, six months. I am positive rent would not be so painful if we could pay on a monthly basis. When I own a couple of houses I will let my tenants pay in this way. Death, Loss and grief...and new beginnings

 I have been dreading doing this. Writing about the past year.  But I woke up with a very heavy heart today, and its not an unfamiliar feeling. I have felt this way the day my father passed away, on 2nd February 2017, and the day my mother passed away too, on 3rd September 2019. I fear that it means another death is eminent. But I am scared of even voicing those thoughts. I need to write two submissions today and unless I am able to shake off this heaviness in my heart, I fear I might not be able to meet my deadlines. So here goes. When my father died, three years ago, as hard and painful as it was,I never really came as close to death as I did when mama passed on. I was with him for a week at the Hospital as he was hooked to a machine. I got to talk to him, to pray with him, to tell him I loved him, to apologize for being a crappy daughter. Time to get back to writing...

Hello! It sure has been a long time. So much has happened in the past few Months. I had a baby, beautiful little boy, who is now a little over eight Months, I got married to a wonderful Man, who is of course the father of my baby, and I lost my dad...this Month, to a freaking brain hemorrhage. I feel as though I have grown in so many ways. I have changed. Becoming a mother has brought certain qualities to the surface that I was not aware I possess. I think Its time for me to get back to doing what I love, and that includes writing in this little blog of mine. I am going to concentrate on different topics that do not necessarily touch on my personal life. I do tend to get carried away and pour my heart out, but I will try to control that and instead find things to write about that I am passionate about - aside from me LOL! So expect a  post soon...
