At the office...well I love the new hair do. I know the Colour is a bit much but I love it,I needed a different look and it looks kinda pretty..


Yeah this is what I do before my boss gets to the office, using his Camera! Not cool! Notice the shirt doesn't exactly fit? I HAVE GAINED WEIGHT. not cool. I hate exercising, so I am trying out this diet a friend recommended. The diet consists mainly of fruits and veggies...I am on day three, feeling okay.I hope I will start seeing results soon. I miss being small. My only problem is that I love having a glass of wine on week nights when I get home. I am trying to drink dry white wine now, hopefully it wont negatively affect my diet..


Miss Muro and myself about two weeks ago, you might notice the outfits, I posted a few pics of the event- her birthday. But these were taken by  a far better Camera, don't we look pretty?!


I just might be murdered for posting this one, but its lovely. The Camera was amazing, and the photographer too!! In case you are wondering, she is on a diet as well LOL

Where do I start... Every year, when it's time to pay my rent, I start thinking about how much I would like for this to one day stop altogether. My parents were teachers, employed by the Government, so I was born in a house that my parents ended up living in for more than twenty years. And when my father retired a few years ago, he was able to purchase the said house from the government. Rent was never an issue. Until I started my own life, in this beautiful and crazy City. Having recently moved to a bigger place, my rent has gone higher. Most Landlords require payment of a year's rent upfront, and if you are lucky, six months. I am positive rent would not be so painful if we could pay on a monthly basis. When I own a couple of houses I will let my tenants pay in this way. Death, Loss and grief...and new beginnings

 I have been dreading doing this. Writing about the past year.  But I woke up with a very heavy heart today, and its not an unfamiliar feeling. I have felt this way the day my father passed away, on 2nd February 2017, and the day my mother passed away too, on 3rd September 2019. I fear that it means another death is eminent. But I am scared of even voicing those thoughts. I need to write two submissions today and unless I am able to shake off this heaviness in my heart, I fear I might not be able to meet my deadlines. So here goes. When my father died, three years ago, as hard and painful as it was,I never really came as close to death as I did when mama passed on. I was with him for a week at the Hospital as he was hooked to a machine. I got to talk to him, to pray with him, to tell him I loved him, to apologize for being a crappy daughter. Time to get back to writing...

Hello! It sure has been a long time. So much has happened in the past few Months. I had a baby, beautiful little boy, who is now a little over eight Months, I got married to a wonderful Man, who is of course the father of my baby, and I lost my dad...this Month, to a freaking brain hemorrhage. I feel as though I have grown in so many ways. I have changed. Becoming a mother has brought certain qualities to the surface that I was not aware I possess. I think Its time for me to get back to doing what I love, and that includes writing in this little blog of mine. I am going to concentrate on different topics that do not necessarily touch on my personal life. I do tend to get carried away and pour my heart out, but I will try to control that and instead find things to write about that I am passionate about - aside from me LOL! So expect a  post soon...
