Being me...

I got a new phone recently and the Camera is pretty good. I take like 15 or 20 selfies a day, and this girl right   here  bullies me into takingpictures of her whenever we meet lol! Just so we are clear, this is about my skills as a photographer, and has nothing to do with the object! Unless I am the object of course, then you can admire and praise all you want!!!!LOL! Vain I know...(covers face) Well enjoy!! And I am officially tired! I'm going to find something to watch or take a nap, or both.. XOXO

Well goodmorning.. Sunday 21st of June 2015.  I love Sundays...they are quiet and laid back. Especially if you live alone like me, and enjoy your own company like I do.  I am around people from Monday to Friday for the most part, its a necessary evil lol! But over the Weekend, I get to be me, spend some time with my self, do a little thinking, bask in my own company. Its refreshing I must add.  I am the kind of person who would tire being surrounded by people if too much time passes without at least getting 24 hours to myself. I would actually start craving solitude lol! This makes me worry about the future actually. Whats going to happen when I have kids, and a husband around me all the time? Well a husband could work, since we don't necessarily have to be around each other all the time, he could travel or I could travel...or we could agree to give each other maybe one day off once in a while where I get to be selfish and just have a little me time. But ...

I think this is one of the best things I have ever watched. Its heart breaking, its painful and it is addictive. And whats worse is, it gives you these silly notions about love. I know the script was created by a mere mortal like myself but still, I mean, its genius!! Ah but to believe in existence of such love, like the Meredith and Derek kind! Sigh...

I haven't posted in a really long while. I'm going to try to change that and make it atleast something I do maybe twice a week...will see. Well I have been super busy with life! lol! Nothing in particular, just, well, living! And boy do I know how to do that! Aanyhow. Today, in the middle of preparing the most complex Contract I have ever had to prepare in my entire career as a Lawyer, I thought of the word "fate", and what it means. Do we have control over what happens to us in life? or is it the work of a force that we have no control over...as in, are our lives predetermined? that if  they were meant to go in a certain direction then that's the direction they will go despite our efforts to the contrary? The people we meet, our jobs, our friends, the people we fall in love with, hell maybe even the people we end up with eventually, is it all planned?  OR DO WE ACTUALLY HAVE CONTROL OVER OUR LIVES AND HOW THEY TURN OUT?
